I have a number of rugby league and rugby union pen pals.
One of the nicest is the Scotland Rugby Union. Their p.r. person, Isobel Irvine,
always replies to my emails and her public relations is very good. In rugby league,
the Newcastle Knights are always very friendly. They send me big league magazines,
posters, birthday cards and christmas cards. Most league teams such as the
Canberra Raiders, the Brisbane Broncos, the North Queensland Cowboys and the
Parramatta Eels reply to my emails about 90 per cent of the time. I also get
mail from the Welsh Rugby Union. I enjoy hearing from them and they enjoy
hearing from me.
