On July 5th, I received an exciting
piece of mail from the United States. It was from Clint Hill who was the Secret
Service agent who jumped on the back of the limousine in which President John F.
Kennedy was shot in Dallas, Texas, on November 22 1963. He is the last surviving
person who was in the car. When I opened the letter, there was an autographed
picture. I was gobsmacked and so happy. I wrote to him in May, telling him how
much I enjoyed reading his autobiography, which was called 'Me and Mrs Kennedy'.
I have had the photo laminated. Thursday, July 31, 2014
