On August 25th, I received a
brochure and a lovely letter from the Martin Luther King Centre in Atlanta
Georgia. I had emailed them to ask if they would be kind enough to send me a brochure
about Doctor King as I have had an interest in him since I was ten years old. I
learned that the Centre opened way back in 1969, just one year after his assassination
in Memphis, Tennessee in April 1968. On the front of the brochure there is a
photo of Dr. King. He was born in 1929 and Dr. King, in my opinion, is one of
the most admired American politicians along with President Obama and the late
Senator Ted Kennedy.
