On
December 31st 2015, I went to the Saxton Oval to see New Zealand play Sri Lanka
at cricket. It was truly a beautiful day and I got to met some of the Sri Lanka
players while they were in Nelson. They were Sacintra Senaynake and Nuwan
Kulserka as well as Black Caps Kane Williamson, Isa Sodhi, Mitchell Santer,
Mitchell McClengan and Adam Milne. Unfortunately, on January 2nd, the second
one day international was rained out. I think the Black Caps will play here
again next summer because they get good
crowds and it is a good cricket wicket.
