My
Parliamentary Pen Pal award of the year goes to National m.p. and cabinet minister,
Judith Collins who is a very good pen pal of mine. Collins always replies to my
emails and shows genuine interest in me, which is nice. I also have other m.p.'s
who are good pen pals, whom I have met
this year, such as Labour m.p.'s Stuart Nash and Jacinda Ardern. I think they
would make a great Labour leadership team in the future. The most disappointing
of the m.p.'s who showed a lack of interest in my correspondence and made all
the excuses in the world was Louisa Wall who told me that I lived in Nelson and
asked why I should have an interest in her Manurewa seat. I enjoy writing to members
of parliament and it is my hobby.
