Meeting National
On August 29, the Prime Minister came to Nelson for a visit along with
National backbencher Joanne Hayes. The Prime Minister said to me that he hadn't
received any mail from me for a while. The rally took place at the 1903 Square
in Nelson. Nelson m.p. Nick Smith was there. I found Joanne Hayes wasn't very
easy talk to and not very approachable which was a bit disappointing. I felt
she knew a I was a Labour supporter because I said to her that one day Labour would
win the election. The Prime Minister spoke about having tax cuts which I don't
agree with.
