Flooding

On  February 1, Nelson was hit by a huge storm. There was water in the middle of the street and some of Nelson's portside restaurants like the Boathouse and  the Boatshed were damaged quite badly. It was a storm like I've never seen before and it was terrible. I am very sad about the Boatshed cafe which looks like it will not open again. The Boatshed was where mum and I went for our Christmas dinner in 2016.
