There has been an international netball tournament in
Nelson recently with sides from Scotland, New Zealand, Tonga, Fiji, South
Africa and Australia. They have been playing at the Trafalgar Centre from August 19 to August 24. I have met lots of the players walking
round town. They have had photos taken and they are friendly and have insisted
on being photographed with me. I met former Australian netball star Vicky
Wilson and told her that I remembered watching her on t.v. as a kid and she
thought I had a good memory. Despite me not being a fan I think it is good for
the Nelson region to host the netball tournament and I hope they do it again.Sunday, August 26, 2018
