I was a big fan of 'The Bill' and was sad when it
was announced that the program was going to be axed in 2010. I still watch it on
UKTV with episodes from 2006 to 2010. One of my favourite cast members was P.C.
Tony Stamp who was played by Graham Cole. I have a signed photo of him and his
book which I got for Christmas in 2010. My favourite episode is 'Best Eaten' in
series13 and episode 69 which came in 1997 starring Sergeant June Ackland
as custody officer for a man who attacked a young boy who was trying to come into
his house. He attacked a him with a domestic iron. The man had lost his job as a
journalist and his life was a mess. He was arrested by p.c. Quinnan and w.p.c.
Page and he annoyed d.s. Greg during the interview. He wouldn't tell the truth and
said he thought the boy had a knife when no knife was found.
