The
first time I remember walking up to the centre of NZ was in 1988. I was a six
year old. I have had injuries up there. In 1994 I pulled my hamstring. Just
before my 13th birthday, I tripped and I couldn't walk for a couple of weeks. I
have walked my own dog, Mackie, up to
the centre of NZ and I have taken other dogs that I walk, up there,
Harvey, Rosie, Jonah, Patrick, and Rover. I always enjoy the walk and feel good
afterwards.
