On
October 18th, I arrived home to notice a parcel at the door. It was from my old
friend Sir Peter Leitch. He has been very kind to me over the years and he has
an autistic grandson. He has rung me a few times and I have also met him once or
twice. He is one of nicest people in the world. In the parcel there was a
Warriors cap and some shorts as well as one of Joseph Parker's boxing gloves.
It was the left hand one. The right hand one went up for sale and fetched about
$5000. Thank you Sir Peter for all your kindness. I first met him in November
2014, when he opened his Mad Butcher shop in Stoke, near here. He has also read
one of my books 'Dealing with Autism'. The Other time I met him was in February
2016 when the Warriors were here for a pre-season game.
