The National Party Leadership.


On July14th, the National Party replaced its leader Todd Muller who had only been in the job for 53 days. He resigned due to mental health issues. I thought he was out of his depth as leader. He was replaced by Veteran MP Judith Collins who was a minister in the last National government. Her deputy is also a veteran, Gerry Brownlee who is from IIam. I think Jacinda Ardern who is the current Prime Minister will be re-elected on September 19th. Because Jacinda did an awesome job at tackling Covid 19 and was a true Prime Minister.
