I think Grant Robertson who is New Zealand’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, is very good and was awesome in handling the economy during last year’s covid lockdown. I like the fact that his tightening of the economy brings in a capital gains tax while not calling it that. I believe we need a capital gains tax and the brightline test is being tightened up so that people cannot flick houses on, like they used to. Now having to wait 10 years instead of 5. Grant Robertson is the best Finance Minister in New Zealand history. Better than Sir Michael Cullen who was very good in the last Labour government.
