In my opinion, the best rugby that I have ever witnessed was in 2002 when England got revenge on Ireland in the Six Nations competition. England won that game 45 to 11 when they scored 6 tries to 1. The game was not televised in New Zealand because of TV rights. But the Six Nations competition itself was on TV. There were tries by Will Greenwood and Jonny Wilkinson. In October 2001, Ireland denied England a grand slam. The game was delayed because of a to foot and mouth outbreak in England. England got revenge on February 16, 2002. There were 13 British and Irish Lions in the team including flanker Richard Hill and Lions Captain Martin Johnson. Ireland were missing their inspirational captain Keith Wood due to injury. But did have Brian O’Driscoll.
