Paddy Upton.

I am pen pals with former South Africa and India cricket strength and conditioning coach Paddy Upton. I met Paddy way back in 1995 when the South Africa cricket team came to Nelson to play NZ Academy at Trafalgar Park. I first emailed him back in January 2019 and he sent me a cap. He is a good friend of Eric Simons, another South Africa coach who gave me a pair of cricket pants. Paddy likes getting snail mail from me as well as my emails which is really nice. Paddy works with Rajasthan Royals  in the IPL  as strength and conditioning coach.
