I lived in the Nelson suburb of Tahunanui
from 1981, the year I was born, to 1991. It was flat 1/84 Muratai Street. It was a two bedroom flat
and I was sad when we left for my current residence. When I lived there I used
to look at old newspapers in the garage, reading about cricket.
One example was
in 1990 when I read about Richard Hadlee getting 400 Test Wickets. One day I
was in the garage but I told mum and dad I was at the beach. They were not
happy.
