On
18th March, I became a paid up member of the Labour Party. I believe
they have the best interests in helping New Zealanders. I hope the Labour Party
form the next Government but I don’t think they will because they have not
revitalised enough. Maryan Street, the Nelson List M.P for the Labour Party, is
a lovely lady and down to earth. I write to a number of Labour M.Ps. Some are
just wonderful like Darien Fenton and David Cunliffe. One of the Labour M.Ps
that has started writing to me is Kris Faafoi from Mana. He does an excellent
job as spokesperson in the Corrections Department. I would like to see the
Labour Party revitalise and bring in younger M.Ps such as Kris Faafoi, Louisa
Wall, Megan Woods and Ian Lees Galloway, to name a few. I would also like to
see David Cunliffe as Labour leader and a clean out the dead wood in the caucus.
It is important that Labour are a united force because this country is being
destroyed by this Government.
