On
February 14th, I got mail from my Wales rugby pen pal, Julie Thomas. It was the
match program for Wales v Italy in their Six Nations match played on February
1st and which Wales won. There were quite a few British and Irish Lions playing
for Wales due to the game being played in France and injuries to halfback, Rhys
Webb, and, number eight, Taulupe Faletau. The postage was about £9.50 which in
New Zealand money is $19.25. The following week in Dublin, Wales went on to
lose to Ireland 24 to 14.
