On 20 January, I went to the
One Day International cricket game between New Zealand and Sri Lanka. It was
heaps of fun but Sri Lanka had a policy right through the tour of no autographs
for fans. Even the next day, when I stood outside the hotel where they were staying
I still couldn't get an autograph. But I did meet the Black Caps when they were
leaving the hotel and they were welcoming and happy to talk to me. New Zealand
won by four wickets.
