Crusaders v Waratahs.

On February 1st, I went to the rugby game between Canterbury Crusaders and NSW Waratahs at Trafalgar Park. It was the first Super Rugby game in Nelson for five years. The reason being that the Crusaders had been contracted to have all their games in Christchurch. I met lots of NSW and Canterbury players including NSW assistant coach, Chris Whittaker, who I also met in Wellington in 2004 but he didn't remember me. I was sitting by the goal posts in the temporary seats. It was a good game and Crusaders won by 43 to 25. I also met lots of All Blacks and Wallabies who were playing for either side. There were also Mako players playing in the Crusaders team who were playing their first Super rugby game in Nelson. The last time this happened was in May 2015.
