The Ranfurly Shield.


The Ranfurly Shield has been around for a very long time and it is important for the grass roots New Zealand game. The Tasman Mako won the Ranfurly Shield 25 to 24 against Hawks Bay Magpies in Napier and I am so happy that they have won their first title defence against Wellington at Lansdowne Park in Blenheim by 28 to 15. I am looking forward to seeing the Mako defend the shield v Auckland on October 2nd at Trafalgar Park and I hope the Mako win. Here are some pictures of me with the Shield. I am so Glad the Mako won.
